The group exhibition "Models of Nature in Contemporary Photography" presents landscape photographs which on closer perception turn out to be not photographs of actual landscapes, but rather deceptively real illustrations of models that were hand-crafted by the artists. Among others, Thomas Wrede is represented in the exhibition with works from his series "Real Landscapes".
Other artists: Matthew Albanese, Oliver Boberg, Sonja Braas, James Casebere, Julian Charrière, Jojakim Cortis und Adrian Sonderegger, Kim Keever, Frank Kunert, David LaChapelle, David Levinthal, Didier Massard, Suzanne Moxhay, Mariele Neudecker, Lori Nix, Hans Op de Beeck, Maija Savolainen, Shirley Wegner, Edwin Zwakman
Curated by the Alfred Ehrhardt Foundation in Berlin the traveling exhibition is realized in collaboration with the Kallmann-Museum Ismaning, the Ludwig Galerie Saarlouis and the Stadtgalerie Kiel.
