Works from a private collection – from Bourgeois to Valdés

There are many different reasons for collecting art: For some, art is merely a financial investment; they build a collection around criteria such as appreciation value and status.

Others collect according to a concept, art as a reflection of their own personality and intellect. For those who are perhaps the happiest, collecting is pure passion. The desire to look, discover and experience becomes the principle of collecting.

The exhibition in our rooms on Bilker Strasse 5 conveys precisely this desire and invites you to experience well-known positions, to discover previously unknown artists and to view a collection that is as eclectic as it is emotional.

The exhibition can be viewed until 27th January 2024.
