»NIKOS ASLANIDIS. CORPORA«


Born in Giannitsa, Greece, in 1980, the artist follows a process that leads him more intuitively to the work. His portraits show figures composed of fragments of images and memories. Characterizations, actions and attributions are constantly rethought, rejected and reworked.   

This process can be seen in the works of the artist. The figures appear in an ambiguous state. Time, movement and space flow into each other. Whether it is a state of dissolution or becoming remains unclear. It is this mystery with which Aslanidis captivates the viewers of his paintings.
